I am depressed and tired so while I am at work, why not look at a couple of the new things on the Forums? Below are a few that caught my eye. Maybe I’ll take my own shots later; maybe I won’t :P. (ps - I wrote this Tuesday but forgot to hit publish).
First up are new shoes from Shiny Things by Fallingwater of course. Holy Stromboli these are cute. Totally not boxy; totally nice
As always, they come in a multitude of colors INCLUDING GLITTER! You can pick em up at Shiny Falls…duh.
This pretty necklace caught my eye because I saw some beauteous shots from Nebulosus Severine on Snapzilla…and then well, when I saw a post in the forums from the same person, I had to check it out. Very pretty glowing pendant comes in green, red, blue and purple. For only $100L

No more new products, but while I am blogging, I should mention what a great morning I had on SL Monday morning with my friend, Joy. I took the day off because life is kind of overwhelming right now (needed a mental health day)…and Joy was nice enough to invite me to go shopping with her. Only, we didn’t really go shopping. We ended up at seriously one of the most disturbing shops I have seen on Second Life - but different strokes for different folks (cough cough). No hints, except I will show you that I had a close encounter with a carnivorous plant. Yeah. A. Plant. You can have fun with friends even while being molested by a plant.

As usual, I was doing my own blogroll, checking out what all the smart bloggy type ladies had to say about new fashion finds. I saw a post from Arbel Vogel at StyleDisorder that piqued my interest. I have been in a bit of a funk lately - about a lot of things that I won’t mention here - and these great new goodies from Pushbutton Skolnick were just what I needed to dress like I was feeling…not so cheery, maybeeee a wittle feisty and a smidge dark. I also think that once you have done the requisite good girl thing in SL, it can sometimes be time to dress a little messy like in RL…throw on a t-shirt instead of a ball gown
Of course, I can’t recall the last time I wore a ball or gown of any kind in RL.
You can check out Push’s new digs at Amicitia sim, next to Fruit and Tres Blah (which I also heart like whoa). O O and all the other great shops that are there…so very many things to do on Amicitia.
A couple of the shirts I picked up are shown below (Danger, Gonzo and Outlaw). But there are tons more and some really cute cardigans and other sweaters too. Another thing to love? The prices.

I am not sun worshipper or beach babe in RL. I burn easily, am not a fan of humidity, and I don’t like to swim in salt water unless it’s very, very clear and I can see what’s around me. It’s ironic then that in my Second Life I live on a small beach and have plenty of time running around with no sunscreen.
However, I lovvvvvvvve the beach under an umbrella, or in the evening, and always, at night. My parents live on the beach and whenever I am home in the summer or fall, I am out on my deck at sunset with a drink and a good book. In. My. Perfect. Chair. Kinda like these chairs from Esmee Isbell at Cherished on Pinehouse sim.

I can[ohhhh ffs Firefox ate my apostrophe again]t blog all the things I want to from my own pics since I am at work (pffft) but I can do a quickie based on something I saw on the forums and picked up last night in world (and wore right away of course).
This adorable, simple ribbon necklace from Carryn Concord and her shop, Tickled Pink. I don’t read a ton about Carryn’s designs much but I am a big fan of her taste. I try to check out the shop at least once every couple weeks.
IIRC, the ribbon necklace also comes in white and red. While you’re there, you can also pick up her cute freebie valentine necklaces like I did
She also has great hair, shoes and a few choice clothing items (like her fur vests, of which I have every style
)
Tickled Pink is located on Chatouille.
