I don’t like bling. Not blinged earings; not blinged rings (Ok, admittedly I had my bling on for like a millisecond when I first got engaged in SL); and most definitely not blinged shoes, belly rings or belts.
One of the reasons I love Cailyn Miller’s designs is the lack of bling. Oh, and the detail on the jewelry.
My wedding jewelry comes from Cailyn’s shop in Butsu. And, this cute dangle heart necklace, looks fun just in time for Valentine’s Day (which by the way, can bite me ^^).

If you’ve been in world for any reasonable amount of time, then you know about Shai Delacroix. She’s one of the warmest, friendliest people I have had the pleasure of meeting in SL. She is also one of its most talented designers. The detail on her work is excellent and her designs exude fun! It’s hard to find flirty, sexy (but not slutty) clothes of great quality in SL - and Shai is one of my favorite haunts for that very reason. I do believe I own her entire store…literally.
Now, it’s Shai’s RL birthday and to celebrate, she’s expanding her line and adding a location. You can check out her new store Casa del Shai Deco (Deco 94, 171, 33) or her regular line Casa del Shai (Deimos 239, 31, 46). Also be sure to check out her blog
Get your wallets ready. I am.
Here are a couple of my favorite Shai pieces - although there are many more.

This is the Dorothy Cocktail Dress, which I believe was my very first dress from Shai - and the one that got me hooked. I still love to wear it.

This next shot is the verrrry fun Solid Gold Bodysuit in fuschia. I might be wearing this to Shai’s celebration if I can only find the right shoes (shoe whore).

When I’m in the mood to mirror the horrendous cold we’re currently having in my neck of the woods, I just put on Shai’s Shearling (shown here in ebony). The coat comes with a ruby mock turtleneck and flower pin, which makes a great touch. I’m also wearing Shai’s skinny jeans, which solve the whole issue with the hideous tight pants bug that makes everyone look like they’re back in the 80s.

This last shot is the Puka Shell dress (in green), which has comes with the perfect prim skirt that covers my arse in a way that makes it look less like the state of Vermont (gotta love the Lindens’ sense of humor with female AV rear ends). Love the pearl detailing.
These outfits - and so much more - are why I love Shai.
Happy birthday sistah!

I was delaying the inevitable (read: sleep) and decided to poke around on the Second Life Police Blotter (good for laughs). I came across repeated use of this…
Offensive avatar appearance
Oh how I wish this were a punishable ToS offense.
Offensive avatar appearance? Stop visiting freebie warehouses. Bling off. Warning issued.
