Wearable art
I have been eagerly awaiting the Spring line of Paper Couture like everyone else. Maybe stalking the Tableau sim would be too strong, but not far off. Last night, I checked again and I did find that some of the goods are out…so yeah, I went shopping since I just sold my land ![]()
Paper Couture was (after Shai), the store that I found really helped me make my AV what I wanted her to be when I first arrived in SL. There is something to be said for getting dressed up once in a while…and there is definitely more to be said about dressing up in PC goodness. If hand drawn fashion is appealing to you, you’ll continue to eat these goodies up.
My favorite of the new goods has to be the Tula suit, which comes with a jacket top without ruffles (but why would you want to do that?) on the jacket layer, a fully ruffled jacket on the shirt layer, jacket bottom on the skirt layer and of course, the trousers (which I altered slightly to make them a smidge more loose).
I paired the suit with the Indie classic flats in orange from Indie Rainbow’s shop at Random Industries. This picture has my feet somewhat buried in the sand but I got tired of taking snaps inside so this can happen
Either way, I love these shoes. You don’t need to be in heels or boots to make an outfit work.
Finally, I added the Sonia pearls from Tickled Pink because I think they work well. I am not normally a pearls person, but I do like these and actually have several pearl pieces from TP as a result.
You can check out Paper Couture on Tableau (which I am sure most people will agree is a kick ass sim).
Enjoy
