When SL updates both server code and viewers, there are always a couple iffy hours (or days?) afterwards where things are just fubar. Normally, I shrug it off. But today, it drove me mental.

1. For the first time since I joined SL, I lost a major item from my inventory. Specifically, a new AO from Luth was in my inventory - and then after a relog, it poofed. Gone. Nowhere. Buh Bye. I contacted Luth and her customer service rep so hopefully she’ll replace it….I have lost little things before but this was major by SL currency standards.

2. Friends list shows no one online even if they’re standing in front of me. If I IM said person and they still don’t show up in my friends list, then all those IMs go to e-mail and there is no way to have a private conversation with them!

3. The web shows 0 online and friends list on the web is broken too.

I know it’ll all get fixed in a couple days but FFS, this just sucks a little fun out.

On the positive side, I haven’t had a failed TP in a while and Elika released new hair today, which I totally dig
