After a weekend away…
…I had to post a couple things I did on Friday and today when I got home from visiting family.
On Friday, Blue Hair and I went to the launch of Radio Riel, which is a new radio station for the Caledon sims (I believe there are 18 of them?). Blue Hair works as a host for Radio Riel, DJ Karma and one other group, so from time to time, I keep him company while he’s working <3 In this case though, it’s significant for two reasons 1) I finally got to wear the beautiful dress that sachi gave me and 2) Desmond Shang was conducting a sim stress test, so at one point, we actually had 100+ avatars on the sim. I couldn’t move, cam around or speak, but even so, it was cool to see how many flexi gowns and wigs you can fit into a sim without it crashing. Well, it was cool for like the first 60 seconds of the test…after that, I was ready to go lol.
In short, us dancing….(click on the photos to see them full size)
Turned to this…
We did have fun though. I don’t know many of the Caledon folks (it must be obvious that I am an interloper because no one talks to me :/) but it’s always fun when I’m with Blue Hair, so <3 to him. Oh and Gabi too - because she plays great music and is always welcoming.
On Sunday when I returned home from being tortured by my RL family, Blue Hair and I went to the opening of Callie Cline’s new sim, Calliefornia, which was packedddd full. People seemed to be having a great time - her partner Kiana Dulce also opened her adjoining sim today as well.
Here are a couple snaps of the festivities. It was great to be there to support her, but of course, my computer finally said STOPPPPPP so I had to go. The snaps below show Callie and some of the people attending her opening (again, click for full size). In the second snap, I am on the right, kind of on the outside of the pretty posing avatars ^-^ and at one point, even Blue Hair got on a ball
Callie’s a very nice girl and I always love to see her. Wishing her every success with her sim and various businesses!
