A little variety is the spice of life
I recently came across a new-to-me designer, Daequix Scarboro, who makes some pretty delicious skins at her shop DaeSkins. Now these are far different from what I typically wear…far, far different being that these particular items are goth or vamp or whatever the proper term is. But a little change might be just what the doctor ordered, because to be honest, I’ve been rather bored of SL fashion over the last few weeks (aside from goodies from Trinitee and her guy, Krius).
Anyway, Daequix has recently released her Julana III series that includes three makeups ranging from harajuku to vamp. The makeups are well done and the bodies, well they’re even better I think.
I am wearing the “harajuku” skin, which has gorgeous purple and blue lips and pretty detail around the eyes. It’s very heavy though, so if you don’t like that kind of thing, you won’t love this makeup. I was sort of shocked when I put it on for the first time but I ended up wearing it for a couple days straight (well, took it off for Jelly’s wedding lol). The best part about the skins in my opinion is the tone of the skin overall - it’s an ash, almost waxy finish - very much like, well, a dead av
If you’re channeling an evil looking dead chick, this could be just the skin for you to try. Really though, it’s well done and more than reasonably priced at $350L per skin.
Now, this dead chick does have *lady bits* but I am not going to show you those up close and personal because that’s not how I roll. Leave that kind of thing to the experts at the blogs on the right. Try the demos and you’ll find that even dead girls can be hawt. Seriously, the shading is great. Although you’ll be deathly white, you’ll still have a cute ass.
Have a good weekend!
