Precious Vuckovic is a newcomer to the fashion scene and seems to be making a big impression with her line of very detailed hand bags. She shared some of her favorites with me and though I rarely use a bag in SL (although in RL I am a certified bag whore), I was very impressed with her prim work. Yes, they’re obviously inspired by designs you may love (or not) in your first lives, but the prim work alone is worth a serious look.

Show below are the St. Tropez ($350L); Paris ($400L); Milano ($350L); and Oceane ($200L) designs.

All the bags above are “bling on/bling off” (I did have trouble getting the bling off but Precious fixed that so yay) and will be animated soon, so you can use a handbag AO with them for now if you have one. I particularly liked the “St. Tropez” - the prim work is sooo well done especially.

I :heart: Trinitee and of course, the designs at Refuge as well. This is Trin’s newest hair, “Starr”. It’s sweet with two low piggies and perfect fringy bangs. You can pick up each color (of which there are many) for $150L or the whole pack for $700 (!!!) that includes a very cool multi-color hair as well! The bands on the pigs tails are easy color change, so you can mix it up depending on what you’re wearing.

This is Starr in the Cafe tone, but there are so many other great colors that you’re just gonna have to check them out (click for full size).

Grazia Horwitz at Second Style reminded the fashion blogging community today that the big finale for Relay For Life is this Saturday, July 28 starting at 2:00 pm SLT. This is a 24 hour “walkathon” in SL for cancer survivors, their loved ones and everyone else who has an interest. I had no idea that nearly 27 million L$ had been raised to date but it’s now time to step up if you haven’t already and contribute for an important cause.

Grazia has detailed a few of the designer wares made specifically for RFL by Shai Delacroix and Nicky Ree for example. She’s asking other creators (not just fashion designers!) to send her ads so she can include them in a mega round up of special RFL offerings before Saturday…

“So whatever special designs you have, clothes, shoes, houses, gadgets, whatever, send me your ads, before Friday 27 noon PDT, and I will do a mega post with all the goodies that will be available exclusively for this Relay event”

There isn’t much real business I do in SL but that doesn’t mean I can’t dress like it from time to time. I guess you could say my business is filling my virtual closet with designs from artists like Dakota Buck.

Wilhelmina is a feisty gold pants suit that comes with loads of layer options and then even more layers. You get the cami, the jacket, high-waisted and low-rise versions of the trousers, and then, a bazillion different ways to wear the ensemble to suit your tastes. Please note that I have not taken elka’s perfect shoes off for days so if you are one of the few who doesn’t have these color-changing beauties yet, get them at Boing! Fromage.

For starters, feast your eyes on the texture of the camisole (click to enlarge). This baby doesn’t need to hide under a jacket - although, what a jacket it is! I am totally in love with these two tops. The trousers are also a triumph - perfect shading, well detailed and more than a little edgy with tapered legs. I’m showing both the high-waist and the low-rise versions, which totally changes the look. Wilhelmina is $225L.
