Whole bunchanewstuff

Some newness all around this morning for me. I crammed it all into one picture because the amount of time I have spent in front of my computer over the last two days is not making my RL happy.

First, Kit Maitland is back after a break and she released this pretty little sundress, “Grace” in 5 colors. I really like the detailed lace and sweet bow (yay) on the back. Also, the skirt needed zero fitting on me so I was very happy about that. It’s quite a sheer linen texture, and comes with top, flexi bow, flexi skirt and skirt base. Each dress is $200L or you can get the pack with five for $500L. Visit CKS Designs and welcome back Kit!

The wigs in the snap are from Autumn Hykova’s Pixel Dust, which is totally new to me. Autumn’s been designing hair for only a few months but her styles are well done. Each hair pack comes with 2 colors for $149L. She has 43 color combinations available. Visit Pixel Dust.

Finally, the skins I am wearing are Starley’s reworked gold and silver Glitter skins from the Charmed line - now, for her Vogue line. They rock and as usual, you can pick them up for $1000L each or better yet, get them all (with bonus freckled skins) in each tone for a discounted $3000L. You probably already know that Canimal and Starley announced jointly that they have ported Canimal’s beautious Glow makeups to the Vogue skins and you can pick those up at both Celestial Studios and Canimal.

Have a great Saturday!

Do you like Corduroy?

Welp no, I’m typically not a corduroy lover unless it’s these shorts from Savvy? (which I heart and wore lovingly especially for this) - but I always like this kind of corduroy. That’s the kind from Corduroy the funky home store owned by Alan Wijaya. He recently got fully up and running so while I typically stick to fashion, I wanted to bring your attention to a great new store run by a very fashionable man :) If you know Alan or his main squeeze, Puma Jie, then mayhaps (damn you Jelly!!) you’ll agree, Corduroy is making a comeback.

Alan has a small, but growing, number of items currently for sale. The main pieces so far include corduroy seating (surprise!) - incredibly low prim and super quality. There are clever poses tucked into every nook of each seat and armrest, so you can literally pack a party of 11 with just the loveseat, armchair and ottoman. There are also colorful lights, intricate beaded screens in loads of textures and colors, and original artwork made by Puma that you can see below.

My favorites are the prettyful Twinkle Lights that come in many colors and twinkle subtly as you get your retro on. (click on any snap below for full size - though better seen in world)

Prices range from $100L for the bead screens to $400 for the armchair (seats 5 with 5 animations) and $450L for the loveseat (seats 5 with 11 animations).

Check out Corduroy if you’re in the market for fashion for your home.
