Love.Love.Love it

My title isn’t original - but these clothes from love.love.love and Roberta Beauchamp certainly are. Here are some new and one not-so-new items that I love.love.loved. Roberta tells me she has only been designing since March, which makes her clothing and accessories that much more impressive. She’s also part of the forthcoming COIF line of wigs that has whipped certain circles into a frenzy. I *believe* that shop should be open sometime later this fall.

First is new from Roberta’s “Rag Couture” line, called the “Frou Frou Shrug.” It’s a jacket layer base, arm and chest prims. Now, I don’t know whether it’s intended this way, but I am also showing it without the middle piece to streamline a bit. I actually think a mostly prim item like this would be really interesting to see done with sculpties. It’s a snuggly fall piece, paired here with the (free!) Haver Tee in tomato from Savvy?, shorts from Dutch Touch, the Melanie leggings from Corduroy and my staples, the perfect Mary Jane flats from !Boing Fromage!

Next is the Mignon dress, which is very elegantly textured and colored. The tiered skirt is very fancy as is the top with pretty cap sleeves (no prims). I’d love to see this offered in brighter colors as well for some contrast, though certainly the greens are lovely choices too. Bonus! No resizing needed here, which I truly loved ;)

Last is not a new release but the “Spool Mannequin” dress released earlier. It comes with skirt base, top and skirt prim. This is a very short dress so if you want to cover up a little, you could wear tights or the Gillian leggings also from Corduroy like I have here ;) And no I didn’t force Puma to name them that ;) The pink on the top is perfect with the stark black, and the dress fit me very well with no adjustments - though it’s copyable if you need to. Yes, it’s quite simple and damn cute in case you missed it like I did when it was released.

There are more new items in Roberta’s shop so if you haven’t checked out the new line, do that!

BBBM: Miroir Dress

I have talked about Big Booty, Big Money by Evelyn Edelman before, back while I was looking for something a little left of center to wear. Back then, this was a totally new to me shop - something with funky designs and crazy low prices. I think the new “Miroir Dress” is a little more mainstream than some of what you find at BBBM though for sure, it’s not what I would call common ;) The design quality has really improved since the last time I took a look and the price on this dress reflects that. But it’s still more than reasonable at $150L.

Miroir comes in a bunch of colors (you can get the pack for $750L) but I am showing the periwinkle and black, which is the color that I think would be most “wearable” on a regular basis although the periwinkle is actually my favorite because it’s shows off the very pretty lace edging on the top so well. The dress comes with skirt base, system skirt, belt or prim skirt/belt together, and shoulder accents. (click for full size)

And black…

The necklace is new from Muse (Caliah Lyon) and is simply stunning. Though it would surely go best with something simpler on top, I couldn’t wait to wear it any longer. The “Celine Pearl Necklace” comes in eight different versions of white or black pearl with a range of crystal and diamond clasps and accents. Caliah also has easy gift vendors set-up so you can purchase any of her items for your friends.
