I’m very excited to show you an in-depth look at what’s new at Last Call today and though I hesitate to share such private news so publicly, I am, in fact, marrying the new “Aileen” Last Call Vamp shoes in a small ceremony later today. Finally I found the one(s) - and you can now find a pair of shoes in my partner box.

The release today is, I think, especially special and here’s why. Yesterday I talked about system skirts and how I heart them - and today, the system skirt plays a starring role in some of the new fashions from Ginny. When I talk about a good system skirt, well “good” is not a good enough descriptor for the creative ways Ginny has applied them today. For instance, below is “Ginny” and it’s is my favorite in today’s release…

Ginny features a richly textured open coat in cream and black that is stunningly beautiful in person. Blue Hair was actually speechless for a second (a rarity) and simply said, “wow.” And that pretty much sums it up I think. You get the coat top, coat bottom (that’s a system skirt!), plunging black under top, skirt base and mini skirt prim (it’s sculpted for better movement). You also get the tops on all the layers to get your mix on later. Finally, if you don’t want to wear the lower part of the coat, you can very easily wear it as a short jacket - although I must tell you, it’s very dramatic as a full piece and looks best worn that way in my opinion.
