Shopping with Wednesday on a Monday - Sweater Style
Who doesn’t love a good sweater? Along with the colors that come with autumn, I’m definitely a sweater girl on the weekends. Woo and I both own very similar RL items like the SL ones we’re showing you now…so here’s a few of our favorites from around the grid.
Starting with a very bright striped number called “wasp!” from Headbutt (Kenzo Gateaux) and a classic neutral knit from *lotta*. I know I keep saying that I don’t like green but I had to have wasp! because while it’s loud, it’s got great edge detailing on the front and certainly makes me think fall. Woo is sporting her new D-skin, which she coveted for a long time and finally acquired. We’re both wearing jean skirts - mine from Sand Shack and Wednesday’s from It’s All Good. (Speaking of Sand Shack, I ran out of time on this, so 2 of my favorite sweaters from Emma are not shown but are definitely worn regularly).

Next I chose the “Pointelle Ombre” sweater from Random (the pack comes with numerous colors) and Wednesday, a high necked cable from Amerie’s Naughty. I’m also sporting a scarf from *BP* that comes in two other colors in the pack and is my favorite little scarf in game because it’s not eating my chin.

Now before anyone flogs me, I am aware that these fantastic Maitreya jam hoodies have been blogged. Forgive me but at this very moment in RL, I am wearing something eerily similar. I love the hair option that comes with the hood and I added a totally unnecessary but very perfect belt from Shiny Things. Woo is sporting a purple hooded cable from Ducknipple to match the charcoal/pink jean shorts from GLAM.

Also from Headbutt is the “sweaterdouche” sweater vest. Ok, the name alone made this a must have. I believe that this store is for men - but being a typical woman, I really don’t care. Woo has on another of her favorites - the red shouldertop - from Ducknipple. Notice how flipping cute she is? Anytime we can put “douche” and “nipple” together, we’re going to. Her skirt is the “Phoebe skirt” from Devilish Cupcake and my shorts are my favorites from Dutch Touch (without the prims).

Finishing it off with a game of “one of these things is not like the others,” is a sweater dress from Pampered Princess. It has a little prim that’s slightly awkward in certain poses but small enough not to bug me. The shimmery texture was what won me over and it also comes in several other bright colors that are fun to accessorize, such as here with the charm necklace from Miam Miam and Solace sandals from Maitreya.
