Many of you probably already have your costumes. But if you don’t - or let’s say you just like to collect them - here’s two more that are polar opposites. Above is House of RFyre’s limited edition “Tangled” in rust, which is 20 pieces to mix up a scary or sweet witch, including boots and numerous tops and textures. I didn’t wear the hat in the above snap because it wouldn’t properly show the little spider hanging down from the tip…but you can see it below. It’s fully sculpted!

In the other hemisphere is “Nidhogg” from Bare Rose. It’s pretty damn amazing with sculpted prims that wrap around you and a scripted tail that’s constantly twisting and swatting. I actually scared myself putting it on.

Here’s the tail and a full look at what you get. All this, in typical Bare Rose fashion, is scarily cheap.

Will there be a butt shot after the jump?

I looked at this dress for a while thinking, “what is muffin-like about this?” But no matter, this is Alla Ruff’s newest release at Veschi called the “Muffin Top” dress. It comes in 11 colors (!) but I’m only showing you my fave in orange because I need to go to bed! Alla also released some totally original new poses, which I’m guessing you can find easily in the snaps below
Each dress is $175L and each pose is only $50L.

The dress is mostly sculpted prim attachments (which are absolutely called for and done so well here), skirt base, skirt panel, top, underlayer, and tintable tights. Call the dress whatever you want, it’s a ton of fun.
More after the jump…

Dakota Buck released a slew of new items again (yay!) - a few of which have horsey themes - so of course, I’m all over that. If you’ve been paying any sort of attention to the evolution of Savvy? then you’re aware that in addition to great clothes and accessories, she has some of the best branding and naming in SL. It’s clever and totally memorable. Personally, I love getting an understanding of what inspires the designers of SL. I always remember how an outfit came to be…
OK, enough chatter, here’s the first race day inspired outfit called, “Cup Day.” The Melbourne Cup is coming up and this is absolutely something you might see a lady wearing on race day. It has a silk blouse with delicate pearl buttons and knee-length skirt, leather riding gloves and my favorite part, a perfect bow at the back of the skirt. Layers? Check. Two sizes for all prims for easy sizing? Check. Thoughtful? Check check.

The hair is a new favorite from Hiccup called, “Slow Jamz 2007″ - which kind of cracks me up.
The leather riding gloves that are part of the Cup Day ensemble are also available in other colors - all rich leather with gold zipper accents. They also go with just about any Savvy? outfit you can think of, so I messed around in my Savvy? folder with other releases to show you.

A few weeks ago I teased Kit Maitland and called her CKS Designs fat packs, “obese packs” because they add a truckload of pretty, colorful, matchable items to your inventory (for cheap too!!). In my mind anyway, it’s stuck and it’s time we all talk about it. Kit’s packs WILL make your inventory porky. I should mention that she calls them a much more palatable “Kit & Kaboodle” for the whole collection, but it may take me a little to adopt that
Now, if you haven’t yet consumed the Amarantine collection, you now have a reminder to order up her new Poe collection - which has a ton of colorful tights, stockings, knee socks, sweaters, tanks, jeans, skirts, OMGITGOESONANDON. It’s a totally fun collection that will have you mixing and matching for days.

Those are only a tiny number of items you get when you pick up the whole Kit & Kaboodle. For some, it’s overwhelming but I can handle it. Though I didn’t snap even close to all the possible looks in the top picture, you also get matching tights, stockings and socks with each sweater set, as well as LOADS of jeans (with great prim bottoms), skirts (ruffled and flat prims), and you can even wear the skirts as cute little shorts.
My favorite tops are the “Lenore” sweater vests, which come with the option of adding a shirt/shirt prim (as shown above). With all the pieces, you get a great selection of bright or muted colors - and all mixable as well.
