New at Last Call: Autumn fashions completely unsuitable for leaf raking
Ginny and Lyra have again, released a gorgeous full collection (This is a GINORMOUS release) with a TON of outfits and shoes to choose from at Last Call. I’m pining away for autumn fashions in my first life because it was nearly 90 degrees here yesterday. But, I’m pretending that it’s time to throw on a trench and leather heels.
Or…perhaps something like this, which is one of several of my favorites in this week’s “Autumn Weekend” release. This is “Magdalena” with ornate jacket and red silk trousers (detail below the cut). I almost don’t know what to say because look at the texturing. Sorry but, It.Just.Doesn’t.Get.Better.

Or…how about “Sally,” which is a very sexy trench coat dress. Did you know trench coats can be sexy even without opening them up^^? Clearly they can.

Also new this week from Lyra Muse are three pairs of gorgeous leather heels, including my favorite, the “Misha” strapped leather heel with delicate stitching.

See a closer look at each of today’s fall releases after the cut…
Back to Magdalena, which comes with jacket (on all the layers), two types of jacket sleeves (smooth or laced) and the softest crimson silk trousers with two types of prims. Again, this was one of my favorites - and there are many more. While I wouldn’t rake leaves in this outfit, it’s perfect for fall and is something I would dearly love to acquire offline.

And a closer look at Sally with system skirt trench bottom and a shiny, ornate belt (be sure you have shiny on). Also, two types of sleeves - or take it all off ^^ and go primless. Favorite? Yes. Also, those are the new “Dionne” heels from Lyra - more below on those too.

Something a little glamorous in “Nastassja” - again featuring a system skirt (I loveeeee this dress), beaded bodice with crystal detail and fluffy sculpted boa. Those are the Misha heels in action.

Not sexy enough for you? Turn around and get out a whip? Totally unexpected. Kind of naughty ^^.

“Gina” is a gorgeous light duster with pinstriped trousers. I love the detail on the back, and the smoothness of the fabric that contrasts with the pinstripes.

The front features a halter underlayer, which by the way is gorgeous and can be worn on its own, and another detailed alligator belt. Sculpted sleeves, sculpted cuffs…Favorite!

“Madison” is something completely different. If you like animal prints, this is your set. That’s a sculpted fur wrap you see there. It really has to be seen in-world to fully appreciate it. The textured belt - and I favor textured belts - is perfect with the corduroy trousers. The trouser cuffs are also textured to match the top, which is a much appreciated detail. This was also a favorite because it’s so very bold and not something I would ever be able to pull off offline. I might pair this in the future with one of the great pencil skirts that are out there. I’d also put the cords with the sweaters below…

So this is “Starley II” - a classic sweater dress, but with a new twist. Yes, it’s a mini, probably best worn with the tights provided in two colors and boots. It comes in numerous basic and bright colors with coordinating necks, sleeves and skirts. Plus, two great belts in black and brown. This is a seriously great sweater and would be perfect with just jeans and kicks too. A little JCrew meets Donna Karan perhaps? Either way, it works for me.

The range of colors - I love them all (even the green!)

Still with me? Next is “Jill,” which features a quilted vest over a snug, jersey dress. The henley top has that Ginny staple of a plunging neckline, and all the layers are provided to get your mix on later. You also get matching shimmery tights that work perfectly.

“Bennett” is simply elegant with delicate, sheer back and sculpted cowl neck, paired with tailored tweed trousers. This is very classic Ginny I think and is definitely another favorite of mine. You can also pick up “Bennett II” in crimson with black trousers (not shown because I am an idiot and didn’t upload that to Flickr). As with all trouser sets from Last Call, you get two pairs of sculpted cuffs and your choice in sleeves as well. Plus, all the layers. It makes my inventory hurt, but in a good way.

The final outfit release is another version of “Frida,” which we saw a few weeks ago. This time, in a classic brown, paired with a darker, dressier jean. I love this coat because there are so many ways to wear it. I said last time that I’m a big fan of the innovative ways Ginny is using the system skirt. I realize this is somewhat controversial given the limitations of the avatar mesh, but I happen to love it for its simplicity.

Ok so by now you know of my recent partnership with a pair of prim shoes. Now I’m a pretty faithful girl, but I’ll admit to a little side action with the new heels from Lyra. You can’t blame me though - the leather texturing is so damn good.
You saw my favorite Misha pumps up top. Here are the two other beauties released today. All in four leathers and all perfectly matched to today’s release.
Here are the “Dionne” open toed heels with scrunched leather buckle. That’s not a proper description clearly. So here’s a picture. The gathered leather is luxurious isn’t it?

And the “Rosalinde” heels with stiff lace detail on the toe. I do not own any heels in my first life with leather as buttery as this but I need to find them.

You all know where Last Call is
I hope you enjoy today’s release. It’s one of my favorites and was totally fun snapping the pictures that will in no way, shape or form, live up to Ginny’s
