Shai released a whole line of new dresses at the Casa - all different and all masterfully done. These were my favorites based on the colors, cuts and styles.
The jewelry worn in some of my snaps is from Swallowtail, a shop that I was introduced to (thanks, Moisie!) a month or so ago, but at that point, the accessories were mostly non-prim. Now, there is a lovely selection of prim accessories - sculpted necklaces, bracelets and corsages. I highly recommend a look for beautiful pieces, low on price but high on detail.
Starting it off with Shai’s “Saffron Sun” dress - a crepe system skirt, bodice and feathered waist attachment. I picked this based on the color, which is warm and beautiful. The texturing - as with everything I have ever seen from Shai - is detailed and unique. The necklace is the sculpted red beaded necklace from Swallowtail, which I thought went quite well.

Here’s a closer look at the necklace, which is $200L. I paired the whole ensemble with the simple amber drops from Diamonde, which I love. I lacked a simple gold drop earring in SL and thankfully Valena rescued me. Diamonde offers a small but growing selection of beautiful pieces to complete your look. I want more!

More after the jump…

At one point or another, I was a devil, a cop, an angel and a cat for Halloween. Nearly all of the new costumes from Celestial Studios and Last Call were part of my childhood - however, a lot less naughty
Here’s a chance to relive some of your old favorite Halloween costumes but in a tres risque way :O Everyone wants to be naughty sometimes right?
Wednesday and I spent many hours playing with the costumes and laughing… a lot. The following is a mix of the resulting pictures and our favorites from today’s giant collaborative release. Sorry that not all of them are terribly creative but there’s a lottttt of costumes to cover!
Starting with the most sinister of the bunch - She Devil, which comes with teeny bikini, thigh high latex boots, sculpted horns and tail, tattoo and pentagram pendant. She starts off happily enough, skulking around a church.

But her ending isn’t pretty. Wednesday did it.

On the other shoulder is Angel Baby - my favorite of all the costumes. The wings are gorgeous and flutter constantly. Even the thigh high boots (a feature of many of the costumes) seem more sweet here
Course, the halo helps too.

More after the cut…

Another must have from Saeya Nyanda and her Kyoot Army. The “Bella Morte” belts in dark and light - two flavors for when you’re breaking out a darker side perhaps.
No doubt there’s no shortage of belts in SL. But do you own one with prim skulls or detail like this? Look.
In light…

And dark…

Especially this time of year, there’s a ton of ways to accessorize with these. With Saeya’s own much loved items or your own mix of crazy like mine.

Each belt comes in two sizes for easy fit (they’re also copy/mod) - and there are both men’s and women’s versions available.
Get yours at Kyoot Army or at the Kyoot Army OnRez shop.
Shape ~ Lemon Sugarblue; Skin ~ CS VOGUE Fall 1 and MM Old Hollywood; Hair ~ Darkstar Design Syd and ETD Sofia; Clothing ~ Kyoot Army Straight Jacket Surrealist, Armidi Jeans, Silent Sparrow waist cincher, top from Wardrobe Trunk Virgin dress, Chapeau tres Mignon Skulls hat

Most who know me know that when Dakota Buck releases something new at Savvy?, I take notice. I’ve had a love affair (sorry Blue Hair) with her layers, casuals and colors perfect for matching since the beginning. My love affair continues with ‘Kota’s first foray into formal wear … and it’s a beauty.
This is “Janine” in signature - a color combination appropriately named because when I first saw it, I thought, “those are absolutely Savvy? colors.” This elegant number also comes in other rich colors (shown below), and all in beautiful silk fabrics with perfect transitions from prim skirt to bodice. The gown is accented with gold ribbons - the straps and bodice, culminating with a skirt-length gold ribbon that sets off a very dramatic open back. As it happens, navy and gold was also my favorite.

Dakota also released her “Angry Leggings” that ironically, made me quite happy
There are a gazillion legging in SL but none like these that I have seen. You can wear them on their own or under your favorite mini, shorts, etc. I love the laces and little flexi ties at the bottom. These surely make leggings less basic.
