Sugar and Spice…and doing something nice
I saw a post yesterday from Alyssum Therian about her friend’s daughter, Abby, who was born with a malignant brain tumor and is undergoing chemotherapy. To help raise money for Abby’s treatments, Aly is offering “Abby’s Elf” - a sweet little holiday themed ensemble for only $100L. 100% of the proceeds go to Abby and you can also donate separately at Alyssum’s shop Love, Aly. So while we all focus on ourselves and our families this holiday season, there’s a simple way you can help a little girl and her family through Second Life. It’s such little cash to hopefully do something meaningful for someone else this season. If enough people take the time, I can see it making a difference.
Abby’s Elf comes with hat, neck fringe, top, belt, skirt with blinking lights (and one without), striped tights, striped socks, and boots. I am not wearing the boots here (and antlers are also not part of the outfit), but my boots are from Lyra Muse and Last Call Vamp - and are available in Spice (ankle boots) and Sugar (full length boots) in four colors - coal, tinsel, holly, and evergreen! They are Limited Edition and won’t be available after Christmas this year.

More of Lyra’s boots below - both the outfits shown are no longer available, as they’re the 2006 holiday LEs from Canimal and Dazzle (now Last Call). But they were the best fits in my wardrobe to show off the boots. Hopefully those of you who joined SL in 2007 will get some sweet holiday LEs as well

And, if you’ve been naughty, you can pick them up in coal, in both the ankle and full length styles.

Or the very festive tinsel
