New from Decoy - but it’s the real deal
Annette Voight and her Decoy brand first appeared in September of this year and since then, her line of hand drawn wares (casuals and formals) has been growing steadily. In fact, my new favorite jeans come from Decoy - thanks to Dakota’s post on Fashion Victim, which got my attention in late October.
Recently, Annette put out three new dresses and I had a chance to try them all. Most notably, they are expertly textured and appropriate for many occasions in your Second Lives.
Starting with my favorite, “Elysium” - a beautiful, merlot knee-length dress with rouched bodice and delicate silver lining detail. But it’s sexy too, with an open back, highlighted with silver strapping and ruby clasp.

I paired the dress with the elegant “Di” hair from Truth and sequined clutch from Red Rabbit Boutique

My jewelry with this dress is the “Paula” diamond necklace and earrings from Second Mirage. The pieces come in many different gem stones and are elegantly crafted with platinum links and studs.
More from Decoy, as well as new jewelry from Second Mirage and Trixie Bumbo…
Next is the “Chloe” gold dress with black lace overlay. I did have to resize the prims a little bit and I actually preferred the skirt to sit a bit lower than when I first tried it on, but I have to tell you, the blending between the layers is perfect - no gaps, no bleed, no texture glitches. Each dress comes with the bodice on the jacket and the shirt layers, so you can reuse as desired.

The necklace is from Cailyn Miller and my earrings (shown below) are the “Gloria” gold beaded earrings, also from Second Mirage. I do like green and gold together even though I probably could have picked a more formal earring. My shoes are the “Vanessa” gold heels from Last Call Vamp.

Finally is “Alesna” with Annette’s trademark rouching and perfect braided bodice. Note, I added the fuzzy jacket from last year’s Canimal holiday outfit (no longer available I don’t think?) because I thought it looked more like New Years Eve this way. My heels are the “Vanessa” silver heels, also from Last Call Vamp.

Without the jacket, my jewelry in this picture is actually another set - the “Curlz” set - from Trixie Bumbo’s Trixie’s Treasures shop (blogged earlier). Trixie is a very new jeweler in SL, and I’m impressed with what I have seen so far.
