I’m so happy she’s back creating! Starley released new party dresses perfect for the season of celebration and overindulgence at Celestial Studios. There are four in all - all different and perfect. Like using the system skirt? You’ll love a couple of these. Not your thing? There are many flexi options too. Not to mention fantastic texturing, versatile belts and different cuts to flatter every figure. A very full and usable release just in time for the holidays.

Starting with “Nena” - with the most options of all the dresses. It comes with jacket, bodice, skirt base, tights, system skirt, belt, belted skirt and open skirt. There are loads of ways to wear it and every color - all gems and metals - is perfect for the holidays.

You can also go totally streamlined with an elegant, little black dress. Dress it up with some jewels and party hair (that’s Celestial Studios “Whitney” which works well), and you’re good to go.

It comes in Amethyst, Pewter (above), Bronze, Pearl, Ruby and Sapphire.

By now you know that Minnu Palen has released her Generation 3 skins to the masses at MM Skins. But have you fought the lag to pick up demos or pick your favorites? If not, here’s a look at the tones, the make-ups, and the body to show you the very wide variety of options available. They are surely some of the most beautiful skins in Second Life with both extreme, high fashion looks to barely there, natural day make-ups.

Brief reminder that outside of the first photo above, I do not retouch any of my skin photos at all. Cropped and framed only.

First, below are my favorite make-ups from each of the four tones: fair, pale, tan and dark. Then I’ll show you the full range of make-ups as well as the body.

Fair - Vela: Gently green shadowed eyes and natural, matte lip

Pale - Royale Red: Earthy eyes, bronzed cheeks and glossy, red lips. Definitely a night time make-up!
