Punch Drunk Rock Star
Rock Star is the new release from Iris Seale’s Punch Drunk. If you’re familiar with her other inventory, then this is clearly a new direction for her and it’s a versatile, edgy set with pieces that can be reused in a multitude of ways. (edit: it doesn’t appear to be up in Mischief - find it at the Le Zoo location!)
That said, in typical Gillian fashion (dork), I have also picked a way to mix the outfit’s top later that is a lot less rock star…and a little more something else :0

The top is my favorite part of the outfit. Worn all together, it’s two layers - the jacket is a nicely painted, gold and silver one strap scoop, hitting in just the right (or wrong) spot so that you have to wear the shirt layer sequined tank (or your underlayer of choice) underneath. My hair is Odette in black and white from Deviant Kitties), razor blade earrings from Diamonde (there’s a sale on now), cuff choker from Last Call Covet (sale there too!) and black slim bangles from Woo’s. I added the mesh gloves from another outfit in my inventory so you don’t get those.

The whole outfit features a light and flexi skirt that uses the sequined detailed glitch pants well. It also comes with fishnet tights that are cut off at the ankles by design, and a little mismatched at the seams. Although I like the sequin shirt layer, I don’t love belly shirts in general so I would always wear a jacket over that. Together though, I think it works very well - particularly with tall boots like these from Digital Dragon Designs, fittingly called Rockstar Boots (half off!).
All the poses on this page are from Torrid Midnight in Saeya’s Silent sim (in the Photosphere store).
See how I mixed the top after the jump…

Perhaps more Starbucks than Rock Star. I don’t often use bags in SL, but this one from Red Rabbit is cute and goes with my coffee theme
My hair and scarf are from artilleri, tweed shorts from GLAM, socks from Shiny Things and boots from Armidi.
