Wholeeee buncha’ pants

Starley Thereian, who I sometimes call Starleypants, has lived up to her nickname - releasing what can only be described as the biggest load of pants EVER at Celestial Studios. But not just pants, belts too. And not just 5 or 6 - there are actually 24 colors, fabrics, washes in all. You’ve probably seen them on her blog, and indeed, it’s hard to choose a favorite pair with all the choices…

Before you say, “how many ways can jeans really be done in SL?” let me tell you why I think these are worth a look and a click.

1. The options you get are unrivaled. 3 styles of pants, 3 kinds of sculpted attachments, and all appropriate layers in every pack.
2. The pockets are not oddly below your butt. I don’t get the pockets not on the butt thing, so happily, these are where they should be.
3. Completely seamless from sculpted cuff to where the “fabric” begins.
4. Variety. There is literally something for everyone. Crisp, deep washes to distressed cords in numerous colors.
5. Price. You get all the options, all the attachments and styles for $100L for each pair and $25L for the belts.

The belts are textured and perfectly match the belt loops in the cords or jeans you buy. There are 14 types of belt options, provided on both the jacket and pants layers. From patents and suedes, to grommets and plaids, they’re a great way not to fuss with fitting prim belts, while still adding a necessary finishing accessory.

The cuffs come in three styles - skinny, boot cut and flared. I favor the skinny ones, as I tend to go more streamlined most of the time.

You can see all the colors, styles, washes and fabrics on Starley’s blog, but here are a couple examples of the variety available. Each pack contains three styles: Regular (wear without prim cuffs), tight fit (pants layer) and skin tight (underwear layer). There are totally destroyed washes, funky colored cords (even pink!), and rich detail like pocket stitching and hardware.

A look at the backside. I have a petite avatar, so imagine these with a little badonkadonk :p

How’s the plumber crack on these babies, I wonder? ;)
I’ve got some curves and have avoided certain designers because they favor the “how low can you go” strategy.

Good question, Thema. They are low-rise jeans, so there is some cleavage in the back, obviously. But not super low-rise.

The belt options are really incredible! Personally the butt crack doesn’t bother me toooo much, I’m more concerned with the pants that dip low in the front. I really don’t need my pubes to be visible, or my underwear when I’m trying to hide them.
