Actually, on Fleur (pardon my pun)

Roslin and CJ have just released a new batch of their specialty Boutique skins, Deux Parfait - in three tones, with six new makeups for each. As before, they are 100% hand-drawn, and this time, with a more subtle nostril that will suit a wider-range of noses (mine included!). You can pick them up at $1200L for singles or multipacks with all 6 makeups for only $4000L. They also feature mod eyebrows for a perfect match.

Starting with the darkest tone, Toffee. This is makeup #6 with lavender eyes and pinky glossed lips.

Note, I usually take off any prim lashes while in these skins. If you do remove your lashes, think about increasing the system lashes on your shape.

Today at 1:00 p.m. SLT a new shop by Rachel Breaker and Chav Paderborn opens. It’s called Bland…which it really isn’t judging by all the colors set out. I won’t be here for the opening so I popped over this morning and grabbed a couple things that looked different.

The skirt (called Stripey Dress) and the shoes (called White Bowed Heels) were both made by Rachel, but there is quite a bit of inventory already out from both. From what I can tell, Rachel’s smaller inventory features a distinctly stylistic hand-drawn look, while Chav’s is focused more on hand-drawn basics and complete outfits - dresses, tops, trousers - mostly in very bright colors. There are also purses, shoes and glasses available.

I’m planning to go back and spend some more time looking but I have to run off to play RL today!

You have seen by now that Starley Thereian just dropped a mixed release of separates and dresses at Celestial Studios - featuring suede trousers, pleated minis, sundresses and draped tees. My favorites of the bunch have to be the very versatile suede pants. For all the reasons I loved her new jeans, I love these too. I happen to own a pair of suede pants offline that are nearly identical to the patched style of these - and I heart them (like whoa). For starters, take a look at the textures!

The pretty skin I am wearing in the first snap is an Eloh mod by Valena Glushenko, owner and designer of Diamonde, called “Gillian.” Valena asked me to pick my favorite makeup look and she did an artful job on the tangerine eyes and pale lips. My ring is also sold in the pack you get with this particular mod (and yes, it’s orange and violet flowers). Look for more of these special mods from Valena soon - I know the next one coming is especially beautiful but I can’t tell you who the subject is You should also check out Valena and Rachelle’s new fashion blog, “Lady and the Tramp.” Brilliant idea for showcasing opposing styles and gorgeous photos.

Back to the perfect suede trousers…they come in six colors and are provided on all the usable layers, with three types of sculpted cuffs, and again, line up with the previously released belts.

Ok I’m totally pushing the seasons considering it’s about 30 degrees F at the moment, but this so didn’t stop me from dressing like it’s 85 in these new beauties from Decoy.

The top is the “Zanza” top in sunset, which comes on all the layers and in a bunch of bright and summery colors (fatpack available). I probably don’t have to tell you but Annette Voight’s textures are truly fantastic - every detail, every color, every layer. I have been a fan since my first item - her jeans are some of my absolute favorites and if you don’t own them, you are truly missing out. I only hope there’s lots more to come very soon.

The skin I am wearing is new for me and fits in well with my love of well-done dark skins. I have long admired Haver Cole in her Nora skin (it’s the skin that most makes me think, “Haver!”), and so I followed suit to see what one of the Nora Samantha skins would look like on my avatar. I totally love it. Every bit of it. I hope to acquire more over time because choosing only one was beyond hard (although packs are quite affordable really).

Next is the new “Anizia” swimsuit and tanks that theoretically take you to the beach and apres swim? Also available in many other colors and on every usable layer. You can’t see it well here, but every hem on the tanks is finished with incredible care. I definitely notice and appreciate those details.
