Delaney Whippet, the avatar behind Microphage has been hard at work growing her eclectic mix of designs with new additions. Delaney is a fairly new designer whose line is strongly influenced by real world fashion houses including Pucci, Miu Miu and Anna Sui.
Directly below is Delaney’s newest dress, “Aria,” which is excellently executed. Now granted, I don’t often wear hot pink but I really like the colors used in the dress and especially the detail of the cinched midsection, which is perfect. Another thing Delaney is fantastic about is layers - so you can wear any of what you see here on any other layer practically. Aria should be available tomorrow.

Delaney also shared some of what you can already find at Microphage, so I picked out a couple of my favorites including these tops below. The two on the left are the “Keyhole” tanks, which are also very well done. I think my favorite of the tops is the “Chevron” tank, shown here in yellow. Fantastic underwire detail and soft, neutral colors.

Also released previously is the “Hope Zipper” dress in black, which is more clubwear than I typically wear. That said, I appreciate the detailed zipper, good shading and multicolor belts - again, provided on all the layers for easy mixing. While this wasn’t my favorite of the items I tried, it’s still well done.

As for hair…I bought the very Amy Winehouse-like Nalirra hair from HCT at the Hairspray sim, not realizing that this pack was *all* multicolored *smacks head* (it was such a great deal though - $300L for the whole pack). And yes, this is a rather sudden departure from what you typically see on me and I thought it was fun to wear with these very colorful outfits.
The other hair is new from Cake and you have to see it in world to fully appreciate how it moves. It’s wild and crazy but very beautiful.
And yes, I did brave the lag at ETD tonight (welcome back Elika) and got everything I could before I crashed. I’m sure the blogs will be full of ETD for days to come. It’s so good to have her back and the new styles and textures are fantastic.

Roslin Petion and CJ Carnot of Tete a Pied held a preview event today for their new skin line - Vivant - which debuts Monday. She may not remember, but Roslin actually did all my custom freckled skins way back when (well, OK it was only last fall). Today, I rediscovered TaP and sincerely think the Vivant line will raise the bar in a big way.
Here’s a look at four of the new ones coming your way tomorrow. In particular, I want to point out the eyebrows, which are absolutely perfect in my opinion. I *really* love them. I don’t do “bits or butts” in this blog, but I can tell you, you’ll be very happy if you care about what’s underneath your clothes
For me, it’s all about the makeup.
Note: These pictures have not been retouched in any way. Just cropped and framed on the white background.
From left to right (click for full size):
- TaP Vivant Buff (tone), Sultry (style), Makeup 3 * this is my absolute favorite*
- TaP Vivant Bronze (tone) Basic Nude (style), Makeup 1
- TaP Vivant Blush (tone) Candy (style), Makeup 3
- TaP Vivant Buff (tone) Pin-up (style), Makeup 1

I hope you’ll agree that these are exceptional. There will be 6 skin tones, 16 styles (I think!) and 3 makeup variations for each tone. Singles are $500L and packs of 3 are $1200L, which is a total steal.
You can’t go right this second but you can go tomorrow. So do that and try the demos!

There’s more newness coming our way from Ana Boogiewoogie’s Sh*t Happens. Here’s a sneak peek of one outfit from Ana’s new line, which will be Japanese street wear inspired (release is slated to be within a couple weeks). This is called, “Kawaii Kappuke-ki,” which translates to “cute cupcake.” Note: these are the pictures that Ana sent along.

Now this outfit comes with TONS: two different skirts, bracelets for both arms, gloves, two ties, adorable socks, hightops (which I really, really want), white cardigan on jacket layer, top, glitch pants, hair, and even a shape if you should choose to use it! All the clothing and textures are 100% hand drawn. This outfit is a collaboration with a few designers, so read on to see who and what.
For starters, these sneakers (what I call them here in Boston heh) are adorable. They are super cute pink and red hightops made by Gaia Goodnight, owner of Darkstar Designs who also did the cupcake backpack that comes with the outfit.

The hair you see is called “Maria” by Kimberly Foss who owns Overdose (see previous entry here). The shape is made by Noelle Hathaway of Elle, Inc.

Now you don’t get the skin with the outfit, but the skin worn in Ana’s pictures is by Philo Sion of Hybrid fame. Her new store is called Eat Me (haha) and this skin looks perfect with the outfit on Ana I think. (I will add the slurl when I get online much, much later).
Look for this and more coming soon at Sh*t Happens! EDIT - looks like the outfit will be $375L (with shape sold separately). You can pick up the hair, which is already available for $150 at Overdose.
