Deux Looks is focused on what one woman (ME!) finds interesting, well executed and/or new in Second Life® fashion. It is a reflection of my real self and as a result, not everyone will like what I choose to blog. I don’t recruit other writers so that it stays true to who I am as an individual. It does reflect both my offline fashion influences and in-world favorite designers, as well as new discoveries and/or experiments.

• Courtesy copies are accepted but definitely not necessary for coverage.
• If I like something, I am more than happy to buy it.
• If your items have already been blogged extensively, I may not feature them at the time you release them.
• Landmarks and/or a list of items to check out are great ways to introduce your shop to me.
• I can be reached by IM in-world (Gillian Waldman) or e-mail (gillianjcf at gmail dot com). I have found e-mail to be far more reliable as I do not “live” in SL™ and IMs can cap.
• I try to blog items in a timely manner. However, from time-to-time, I do round-ups, mixes or themed pieces, which may not necessarily coincide with when you released your designs.
• I regret that I cannot blog everything. Sometimes the items have already been heavily blogged; sometimes I am unable to get to them in a timely manner; and sometimes, the pieces are simply not my cup of tea and it would be hard for my avatar to show them well.
• I don’t run press releases about events unless it’s for charity.
• I do attend events as often as I can.

At the end of the day, while my blog is focused on my own influences and tastes, it is about the talented designers and content creators I support in Second Life. I try to use both subtle, natural poses and neutral backdrops to make the designs - not my avatar - the focus.

While I do this for fun, I do strive to do it well - feedback or ways to improve is welcome and appreciated.
