You have seen by now that Starley Thereian just dropped a mixed release of separates and dresses at Celestial Studios - featuring suede trousers, pleated minis, sundresses and draped tees. My favorites of the bunch have to be the very versatile suede pants. For all the reasons I loved her new jeans, I love these too. I happen to own a pair of suede pants offline that are nearly identical to the patched style of these - and I heart them (like whoa). For starters, take a look at the textures!

The pretty skin I am wearing in the first snap is an Eloh mod by Valena Glushenko, owner and designer of Diamonde, called “Gillian.” Valena asked me to pick my favorite makeup look and she did an artful job on the tangerine eyes and pale lips. My ring is also sold in the pack you get with this particular mod (and yes, it’s orange and violet flowers). Look for more of these special mods from Valena soon - I know the next one coming is especially beautiful but I can’t tell you who the subject is
You should also check out Valena and Rachelle’s new fashion blog, “Lady and the Tramp.” Brilliant idea for showcasing opposing styles and gorgeous photos.
Back to the perfect suede trousers…they come in six colors and are provided on all the usable layers, with three types of sculpted cuffs, and again, line up with the previously released belts.

So much more after the cut…

\o/ Some of you knew these were coming, and here they are after months of trying to squash a bug that wouldn’t let her save skins!
Four new seasonal make-ups from Starley’s Vogue line of skins at Celestial Studios. They feature the cheek highlights we were introduced to with the Autumn skins, truly beautiful eyeshadows and both neutral, glossy and bold lips in plum and chocolate. The below snaps are all shown in my usual champagne tone and YES for you freckle lovers, you get freckled options with each make-up as well. You can see all the prettiness with much better photos at Starley’s blog as well.
If you wear prim lashes, you’ll want to choose a pair that best shows off the eyes on these skins. The eyeshadows are truly magnificent and heavier lashes will hide them. I chose Starley’s own Vogue lashes (size 3) for these snaps, which you will conveniently find included with the skins you purchase. I know prim lashes can be a PITA to fit, but I have found that having several pairs that work for different skins is very helpful.
Reminder - I do not post-process skin snapshots. These were taken in the production (non-Windlight) viewer.
Winter 1 - plum stained lips, lightly blushed cheeks and a smoky eye.

Winter 2 - Neutral lips, soft blush and gorgeous iridescent eyes (this makeup absolutely works best with lighter lashes)

See 3 and 4, plus the freckles, after the cut…

Starley Thereian, who I sometimes call Starleypants, has lived up to her nickname - releasing what can only be described as the biggest load of pants EVER at Celestial Studios. But not just pants, belts too. And not just 5 or 6 - there are actually 24 colors, fabrics, washes in all. You’ve probably seen them on her blog, and indeed, it’s hard to choose a favorite pair with all the choices…

Before you say, “how many ways can jeans really be done in SL?” let me tell you why I think these are worth a look and a click.
1. The options you get are unrivaled. 3 styles of pants, 3 kinds of sculpted attachments, and all appropriate layers in every pack.
2. The pockets are not oddly below your butt. I don’t get the pockets not on the butt thing, so happily, these are where they should be.
3. Completely seamless from sculpted cuff to where the “fabric” begins.
4. Variety. There is literally something for everyone. Crisp, deep washes to distressed cords in numerous colors.
5. Price. You get all the options, all the attachments and styles for $100L for each pair and $25L for the belts.
The belts are textured and perfectly match the belt loops in the cords or jeans you buy. There are 14 types of belt options, provided on both the jacket and pants layers. From patents and suedes, to grommets and plaids, they’re a great way not to fuss with fitting prim belts, while still adding a necessary finishing accessory.

The cuffs come in three styles - skinny, boot cut and flared. I favor the skinny ones, as I tend to go more streamlined most of the time.

I know there are mixed views on handbags in SL - it’s not as if you can put anything in them after all. But if you’re like me, and realllllllly enjoy handbags offline (more like, obsessively collect them in my case), I think you’ll find it hard not to take a gander at these new sculpted hobo bags at Celestial Studios to add something unique to your overall look. Obviously, my favorite is the orange patent :p

There are 16 styles in all - from super bright patent leathers to buttery suedes and soft quilts. I found they go perfectly with the Slinky Stilettos from Maitreya, so you can be matchy-matchy if you like. Each bag is provided 4 ways - 2 posed holds by Torrid Midnight (left shoulder and hand) and 2 un-posed, good for if you’re already using an AO that works with handbags or I suppose if you want to flap your bag around as you fly or float? Each is $150L, which is very extremely generous given the quality and options.
See more holds, close-ups and full credits after the jump…
